We are Rising Up this summer for kids and teens! If you drive by our campus, in the heart of Anderson Township, you will see lots of construction in the front. We are making significant facility updates, particularly in our Kids Ministry area, as we shift our focus to reaching more families with kids and teenagers. Our updates include creating a playground for families in the community to use any time! Here is what the outdoor spaces will look like later this summer!
Over the last few years, our congregation and ministries have grown significantly. The results of this comprehensive campaign will only propel us further toward our vision of becoming a church where young families feel at home and can develop a deeply grounded faith.
This is one of those great moments in our history where God is going to do something powerful, and I can’t wait to experience it together!
Rising Up with You,
Pastor Jon

Rise Up- The Vision
Opportunities

Thanks to God’s provision and the wisdom of generations of visionary leaders, we are blessed to have one of the best locations in the center of Anderson Township. Over 40,000 cars drive past our front yard daily. What a gift! With that being said, what our first impression says about us is really important. When people look at the front of our building, they only see part of our story: a beautiful, well-kept, traditional church.
We want our community to know that Anderson Hills is a place where families with kids and teens can get plugged in, find community, and grow in their faith. A place where their children can learn, grow, thrive, and have fun! In order to communicate this message to our neighborhood, we need to make some major updates. Here’s what lies ahead...
How We Are Rising Up!

Creating an exciting new look:
- Freshly updated exterior paint
- New signage and logo displayed at the main entrance
- Inviting green space facing Beechmont Avenue, with playgrounds and gathering spaces
- Changing the front will be more inviting to contemporary worshipers, providing a transition between our traditional look, so people know we offer both styles of worship.
- New paint and murals throughout the main level
- Remodeled AH Kids and Preschool area
- New furnishings, flooring, and décor for most main-level areas
Increasing safety and accessibility:
- A new security camera and door lock system in every AH Kids classroom
- Inclusive and accessible playground areas
- Sensory equipment for children with special needs

Investing in new programs and amenities:
- Implementing First Friends: a new program to help new guests get connected at AHC
- Enhancing our hospitality with volunteer training
- Professional coaching for staff on how to reach new families with kids and teens
- Coworking spaces near the playgrounds for busy parents
- Anderson Hills On Demand (new online content)
