The cornerstone of Christian faith is the resurrection of Jesus. This is the central tenet of the Christian faith, the one that serves as the foundation of hope and salvation. Reflect: What does the symbolism of verse 4 mean to you? What does it mean to live a life trusting in the resurrection? Why should the resurrection of Christ change how we live?
Apply: How is the concept of resurrection life meant for now and for the future? How does baptism relate to the resurrection? How is death to sin related to the resurrection?
Pray: Heavenly Father, thank You that Christ died for my sins so that I might be justified by faith in His finished work at Calvary. I pray that I may I look upon this truth and discover It to be a reality in my walk with Christ.

Pray: Jesus, thank you for your promise that you are the resurrection and the life. I believe in you and trust in your power to bring new life even in the midst of death. I claim your promise that even if I die, I will still live because of my faith in you .
Day 5 Revelation 1:12-18
Reflect: What does this vision teach you about Jesus? Though death is a fact of life, why do you think people avoid talking about it? How have you seen the fear of death enslave people?
Apply: With whom do you need to share the truth of Jesus’ resurrection and what it means for us in light of death? How might this passage help you to share this good news?
