2026 Serve Day : Love in Action
Join us on Saturday, August 8, as we serve our neighbors and community together through a variety of local service projects. Whether you enjoy working outdoors, serving hands-on, encouraging others, or helping behind the scenes, there's an opportunity for everyone. Most projects take place from 9:00–11:00 AM, with the exception of Habitat for Humanity and The Lord's Gym. We'll gather at Anderson Hills at 8:00 AM for coffee, donuts, prayer, and project instructions before heading out to serve. For families, please register each participant separately.
The Lord's Gym
Serve alongside a ministry that cares for and supports individuals in Lower Price Hill. Volunteers will help serve a picnic lunch and assemble hygiene kits for those in need. This opportunity is a great fit for teens and adults who enjoy hands-on service and connecting with others.
New Life Furniture
Help create welcoming homes for families transitioning out of homelessness by sorting, cleaning, and preparing donated furniture and household items. This hands-on opportunity is a meaningful way to make a direct impact and is open to volunteers ages 13 and older.
Mt. Washington Elementary
Help care for the school grounds through landscaping and outdoor cleanup projects that create a welcoming environment for students, staff, and families. This opportunity is perfect for individuals, families, and volunteers of all ages.
Matthew 25 Ministries
Help sort and prepare donated products that will be distributed to people in need around the world. This opportunity is great for individuals, families, and all ages looking to make a meaningful impact together.
Habitat for Humanity
Help families in our city move one step closer to homeownership by assisting with finishing work on Habitat for Humanity homes. Whether you're skilled with tools or simply willing to lend a hand, there's a place for you on this team. Best suited for older teens and adults.
Anderson Township Service Projects
Serve alongside family and friends through a variety of projects that help care for our community. Opportunities include painting neighborhood fire hydrants, cleaning up local parks, and participating in Adopt-a-Road litter pickup.
These projects are great for families and volunteers of all ages (Adopt-a-Road is for ages 8+). When you register, you'll be able to select the project that's right for you.
Mt. Washington Community
Help beautify our neighborhood through landscaping and cleanup around the Mt. Washington Welcome Sign and Business District. This is a great opportunity for individuals, families, and all ages to serve our community together.
